To the Northern Suburbs, From the Mediterranean Sea is a fictional conversation in two parts that is based on a true story and that takes place in a sauna. It was written as a catalogue essay to accompany a film and subsequent publication by Benjamin Burtenshaw, that researched the role of individual subjectivity within a community.
