This work consists of a folder of five digital files performed, enacted or amplified at different points throughout the performance. Reflecting on administration as the materiality of institutional practice, the work accepts that to be an artist means to somehow consent to the erasure of one's own singularity. It plays with this contractual subjection of the artist through the extraction of a signature while at the same time gifting a verbal inscription to the Dutch Art Institute upon the completion of the artist's studies—an inscription performed by, and therefore carried on through, a remaining student with whom affinities are shared.
